The Board of Commissioners, alongside Audubon Mayor Robert Jakubowski and the Parks Department, has unveiled a series of enhancements at Audubon Family Park. The improvements, totaling $90,000, were funded through a combination of a $25,000 Recreation Facility Enhancement grant from the Board of Commissioners and $65,000 from state funds.

The upgrades include improvements to existing playgrounds, the installation of a walking path, enhancements to the hockey rink surface, and new exercise equipment. Commissioner Jeffrey Nash, who serves as liaison to the Parks Department, expressed enthusiasm for the project: “Audubon Family Park is a treasured space in this community and the improvements made will allow our residents to enjoy it for years to come.” He added that “the Board of Commissioners is committed to helping our municipalities maintain and improve their green spaces so residents can continue to appreciate these critical spaces that provide endless pleasure to our children and families.”
